• If the sponsor has been employed for 6 months or more in the UK, their gross annual salary has to exceed £18,600.
• If the sponsor works overseas and is returning to the UK to settle, they must earn more than £18,600 and must have a job offer in writing that would pay an annual sum of £18,600 or more
• If they are self-employed, they must be working for at least 12 months and should have all their accounts for those months as well. OR they must have an average income throughout the past 2 years which would satisfy the financial requirements
• If they live on savings, they must have £62,500 which should be under their care and control for at least 6 months and should be readily available and should not go underthe amount for six months
• If they live on pension, it must exceed the minimum threshold sum for each year
• If they are unemployed, they must receive income from their property rentals. This income must exceed the minimum income per year and should meet the financial requirements
