If you have become eligible to apply for an Indefinite Leave to Remain, it\u2019s important that your application satisfies the basic requirements for doing so, as stated by Home Office.<\/p>\n

First, there are several visa categories, each with its own qualifying period, so you\u2019ll need to be sure that you have the timeline right.<\/p>\n

For a spouse or a partner of a British citizen or a valid entry person who is settled in the UK, you can apply after two years if your visa was issued prior to 9th<\/sup>\u00a0July 2012.
