However, there are some conditions and requirements you\u2019ll need to satisfy. To make the task of applying for the visa easier, we\u2019ve compiled all the information you need to know.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3><strong><b>Basic Information on the EEA Permanent Residence<\/b><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Same as an Indefinite Leave to Remain, a Permanent Residence will allow you to live in the UK, whether or not the country actually leaves the EU.<\/p>\n<p>You are not required to pass the \u2018Life in the UK\u2019 test; however, if you do apply for naturalization later on, you will need to do so early on. This is why we usually recommend that our clients prepare for the test while they\u2019re preparing for the permanent residence application, so they can apply for citizenship as soon as the former application is submitted.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any criminal convictions, you will be required to provide complete documentation of the seriousness of your crime, which will then be reviewed by the Home Office.
