Contact the UK Immigration and visa office<\/u><\/a>\u00a0to get an update on the status of your application if you are facing long waits in procedure and the Home Office hasn’t reached out to you.<\/p>\n

They can assist you in whether you can take any actions to hasten the process. Make a note and try to record all communications you have had with the Home Office representative relating to your application, such as the date and time, the name of the person you spoke with, and any information that was shared. In an email from the Home Office, you may receive “ticket” numbers that you should keep safe. To pursue your immigration choice further, you will also require documentation of the actions you have taken so far.<\/p>\n

You have to use the visa application number or the reference number of the Home Office when communicating with the representative by phone or email. You can find these details on your application form.
