You need to take certain measures to gain a legal status in the U.K.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s what you should know:<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3><strong><b>Ways to Become a Legal Citizen <\/b><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>One of the first things you need to do is find an immigration solicitor who can help you understand your rights.<\/p>\n<p>An immigration solicitor\u00a0can assist you with many things, from compiling paperwork to filing the immigration application. Furthermore, they have the tools, resources and the knowledge to help you file for legal support.<\/p>\n<p>You might be able to attain legal status if:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You\u2019re between the ages of 18 and 24 and have lived in the U.K. for half your life<\/li>\n<li>Returning to your home country is dangerous (i.e., due to an ongoing war)<\/li>\n<li>You have a lot of relatives in the U.K.<\/li>\n<li>You have children in the U.K.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you have children living with you in the U.K. but do not have citizenship, you can apply for registration.
