You Must Have A Job Offer

Your Job Must Be Eligible

Salary Requirements

The minimum salary that you must get paid is £25,600 annually or £10.10 per hour. The salary must cut the ‘going rate’ at the time of applying for the job.

However, salaries differ if you are working for the education or healthcare sectors.

Employers Must be Legitimate

The government should approve the Employers as legitimate. You can find out about approved employers to cross-check before applying or accepting the offer.

If your employer is approved, they will provide you with an electronic record called a sponsorship certificate. The reference number on that certificate will be used to get your UK Skilled Workers Visa. Applicants are advised to apply within three months of getting the certificate.

Basic Requirements

Other basic requirements apart from having a genuine placement are:

• Applicant must be above the age of 18
• Valid Certificate of Sponsorship (Obtained from an A-listed Employer by the Home Office and includes your name, job, and salary and a confirmation of the legitimacy of the certificate)
• Immigration Skill Charge paid by the sponsor
• English Language Proficiency to at least CEFR Level B1 (equivalent to IELTS 4.0)
• Financially stable to support yourself and not rely on public funds
• Clean criminal record certificate (since the age of 18 in the country of residence)
• Valid TB certificate for certain countries
