How Long Will My UK Fiancé Visa Application Take To Process?

The UK fiancé visa processing time largely depends on where you’re applying from. On average, the Home Office takes around 2–3 months to process a UK fiancé visa application.

How do you find out the UK fiancé visa application processing time for your country?

It’s quite simple:

  • Step 1– Visit the UK Home Office official website

  • Step 2– Click on “Start now” tab

  • Step 3– Choose the country from where you’re making the application. For our example, we’ve selected Manila, Philippines.

  • Step 4– Select “Settlement Visas” from the drop down list (S: Can’t find the option? Keep reading.)

  • Step 5– Select the Settlement Visa type from the drop down list for which you would like to see the processing time for; select “Settlement.”

You should see a table like this:

For someone applying for a UK fiancé visa from Philippines, it should take a minimum of 2 days to a maximum of 90 days for their application to process. However, 2 months is the likeliest scenario.

Unfortunately, the Home Office does not provide this information for all countries. So, when doing the search for your location, their website may not show you any results.
