- Funds to cover the trip, and where large deposits came from
- Employment, family and property ties to your home country
- UK sponsor's invitation, status and ability to support you
- Previous travel and any past refusals declared
- Consistency between the form and every document
Which visit visa documents do you check?
We check your evidence and your UK sponsor's.

Which visitor requirements do you test?
We test that your evidence proves each requirement for a genuine visitor.
- You will leave the UK at the end of the visit
- You can fund the trip without working or using public funds
- You will only do permitted activities
- The visit is no longer than 6 months
- You will not live in the UK through frequent or long visits

What mistakes do you find most often?
Most visitor refusals come from finances that raise questions rather than answer them.
- Large unexplained deposits shortly before applying
- Trip cost out of proportion to income
- Weak evidence of a job or business to return to
- Sponsor letter that doesn't explain the relationship
- Previous refusals not declared
